Meet the Executive Board
John Goldthwait, President
Hi everyone! My name is John Goldthwait and I am a senior majoring in Supply Chain Management. I’m from Annapolis, Maryland, and I’m so excited for this year! I first got involved with Habitat during my freshman year after coming across the club at the career fair and I’ve been involved ever since. One of my favorite memories was the spring break trip I went on that same year where I had the chance to meet Habitat homeowners and hear their stories. It was incredible to see firsthand how the work we’re doing makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Jack Pikiewicz, Vice President
Hey everyone, I’m Jack Pikiewicz a Civil Engineering major from Erie, PA. If I’m not hanging with friends, working out, or playing soccer, I’m volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Habitat is the perfect place for me to fuel my love for construction and volunteering. Im grateful for getting the opportunity to help out my community and making a lasting impact on peoples lives.
Anastasia Sharipova, Secretary & Spring Break Coordinator
My name is Anastasia Sharipova and I am a junior studying architectural engineering. I am from outside Philly, specifically King of Prussia. I got involved with Habitat at Penn State because I had volunteered at builds in my hometown and really enjoyed it. My favorite Habitat memory is going on the 2023 spring break trip to Ft Lauderdale because I had a great time contributing to the community while also getting to do fun activities like snorkeling!

Caden Barley, PR & Social Chair
Hey! I'm Caden (he/him), a senior Theatre Studies B.A. with a minor in English from Virginia Beach, VA. This is my second year with Habitat for Humanity, and I'm beyond excited to be expanding our branch as the PR and Social Chair. Last year, I spent many weekends at the local ReStore center, and was lucky enough to come along to a handful of builds in the State College area as well. Habitat has become a second home and safe space for me, and I can't wait to keep serving the community through my final year at Penn State!
Ryan Kurtz, Spring Break Coordinator
Hello! My name is Ryan Kurtz and I am a fifth- year Architectural Engineering student from New Jersey. I have been involved with Habitat for Humanity since my freshman year of high school. I have been apart of lots of builds over the years and have enjoyed every unique experience. I am super excited to be on the executive board this year and can't wait to help give back to the community!

Nelson Diaz, Treasurer
My name is Nelson Diaz. I am a 4th year civil engineering major. My favorite part of Habitat is being able to make a positive impact on other people’s lives!
